Welcome to my Google for Educators Page!
I haven't had time yethave created 10 tutorials to check out why someexplain and demonstrate many of myGoogle's search features. The last four tutorials stopped mid-way through. If you watch 1-4explain how to create, share, and they don't stop midway for you I'd be interesteduse Google's forms, found in hearing about it. You can click the 'discussion' tab and let me know.Google Documents.
    Left Hand Column Differences.
Regarding the different formats of the Results page: some showing a stable left column and others needing to click the "show options" button; I have an explanation from my IT resource. Google often takes advantage of their users to try out new formats and applications. This is referred to as BETA. An application in an early form that needs testing is referred to as a Beta application. Apparently, Google will divide up their users, using their IP addresses, and give the application in one format to group A and another format to group B. According to an article (that I googled) Google rolled out the new permanent left-side column on May 5th, but apparently the other formats are still in play. This makes it difficult for someone like me who is trying to give a workshop on Google.
